Modelled in max and Rhino though. After my first attempt as well at metaballs, think my next one will be a less human freindly alien situation, aka 1950's scifi horror theme. Had to throw together a spare machine at work to render this, my laptop was thrashing the harddrive like crazy towards the end. Stuck the picture on a old p400 with 375megs ram (which i borrowed from 2 other machines) and let it run for 4 days. Sadly, the marketplace refused my valid address credit card number so used a nice freebie 'ranran441' texture for the girl. To bad, had planned on buying $200 in purchases for this and future use; will have to wait till im not 400 miles from the north pole and money order it. Oh well, already found and made myself a 1000x1000+ iris for a eyeball from stratch. Can you say 'floating eyeball creatures'.
