Subject: Help Needed:- Adding Prop/Char/Pose to Libaries

poseschool ( ) posted Mon, 07 January 2002 at 10:36 AM ยท edited Thu, 15 August 2024 at 3:57 AM

I can add Poses/Characters/Props etc but the thumbnail created in the Libraries area is not Rendered. It just shows up as basic untextured on a Gray background. This is especially annoying when adding semi-transparent items. It their a Config file I am not setting? Please can someone assist and tell me what I am messing up Thanks

There are different solutions , what works best for me: render in seperate window ( size 100*100) a small image save it as *jpg. Than use p3do explorer ( free at the link and very usefull) and replace the *.rsr with the rendered *jpg. and thats it.

Let's do things the easy way. Once you have your subject in your document window, click on the Texture Shaded "button." Your figure will be textured, and the texture will show in the "thumbnail!" The exceptions are some things which have transparencies, such as some hair styles, etc. Then you'd see "dotted lines" where the transparency exists.
