THE PLACE FOR ALL THINGS BRYCE - GOT A PROBLEM? YOU'VE COME TO THE RIGHT PLACE

Subject: Graphics Tablets Oo

I was thinking about investing in a graphics tablet, but I was wondering if anyone could tell me whether it would be supported by Bryce 5 & Poser 4. I'm on a limited budget and only have about 150 to spend on one. Any suggestions as to which one are good for the money would be much appreciated. So far I've only been looking at some of the lower-end 'Wacom' tablets. Has anyone had any experience with this make? Any help would be great, thx, Digi H

I've got a Wacom Intuos - and it's an excellent bit of kit - I've not used the Graphire ones personally - but I'd trust the wacom brand more than any other "budget" tablet. I've read very good reviews about them. The question is, what would you want to use a tablet for in bryce and poser? - it will take over the function of the mouse (although the mouse still works) but you can't "draw" anything in bryce (or can you? Am I being dense?) Pete

Well I would imagine it would help with the terrain editor but I found it easier to get straight lines , etc in a graphics program.

ooo yes - If I'm doing a hand drawn terrain, I always do it in photoshop and load it in - bryce's terrain drawing tools are far too basic

I don't personally use my Graphire 2 with Bryce at all, can't see any benefits with it for that, but I highly reccomend it as a graphics tablet for the usual uses in Photoshop etc.! - It is, despite its much lower price tag, an excellent bit of kit! :)
