Was going through a box and found this pic....about 25 years ago I dated a photographer for awhile, and one day we were at the local duck pond and he let me shoot this pic, then we went back to his house and he showed me how to develop it - it's the only time I've seen/done the whole process start to finish, and I still remember how cool it was watching the image come up from out of nowhere.... No retouching or anything, just enlarged it a bit, no clue what kind of camera or film (heck, I can't remember what I had for breakfast yesterday....) :-)

I'm glad to see more interest here in black and white photogrphy and printing. I've been thinking about it alot.

He 'let' you shoot this pic? Very daring of him, letting a woman near a camera so long ago....... (snigger) Oh, sorry, hon!!! S'good picture, ignore me.... (",)

Very nice! I'm dying to try my hand at printing.

I am, therefore I create.......

LOL, Jordy! You've hit the nail on the head, he was hovering so close the whole time, I thought we were all going to end up at the bottom of the pond, not a pleasant place to be! :-)

25 years ago, with unfamiliar equipment and an anxious photographer date hovering over you...and you still managed to capture a beautiful photograph! If that's not innate talent, I don't know what is!

Aw shucks, Punkie, thanks! I think it's been more "inert" than "innate" for the last 25 years, but it seems to be waking up and taking a look around since I've been hanging out around here! :-)

...really beautiful pic. "Messy" pics are hard to get right, but those ducklings draws attention. And that tree is fantastic. .n
