Personal note - I'd like to thank nikitacreed and Xena for making this project as much fun as it turned out to be. :)

I tell you what, that subject title would upset a few over here in the UK, after the relevations about our young Prince Harry, plus you could get a queue. Seriously these are just grand, and thankyou so much.

Cin- ( ) posted Mon, 14 January 2002 at 1:00 PM

Heh... yes, I chose that subject on purpose because of what people might assume I was talking about... but it IS a free pot!

igohigh ( ) posted Mon, 14 January 2002 at 1:38 PM

lol judith, it's a good thing you came back to thank Xena, if it weren't for her this would still be sitting on my hard drive waiting for me to come up with something to put in the pot!

...I don't mean to change the direction that this threat seems to be going but it's not just A pot. With a little bit of re-scaling (and monkeying with reflection maps), it becomes a whole bunch of pots...and just think, there are 7 more comming. That'll make a gazillion pots. Thank you cin-, nikitacreed and Xena These are great, can't wait for the others...

Kiera ( ) posted Mon, 14 January 2002 at 9:33 PM

o0o0o. I love that rainbow reflection map. ;) This pot is great. In fact, I just plopped it into a scene I am working on. =) All these "little" items are what makes a scene really detailed and interesting.

SPIRESMEDIA ( ) posted Mon, 14 January 2002 at 9:42 PM

guslaw!!!! those reflec maps are AWESOME!!! where did you get those? thanks, cin / xena / nikitacreed.....now, i can stop biting what's left of my fingernails....looking forward to the rest of the pots! hee hee he tam ;o)

Xena ( ) posted Mon, 14 January 2002 at 11:34 PM

You did a fantastic job on the pot guslaw!!! I'm a BIG fan of reflection maps, so you've made my day ;) ties tam's hands behind her back so she doesn't nibble to her knuckles

movida ( ) posted Mon, 14 January 2002 at 11:39 PM

Cin- ( ) posted Mon, 14 January 2002 at 11:43 PM

points at the shiny rainbow pot I want THAT one for my house!

SPIRESMEDIA ( ) posted Mon, 14 January 2002 at 11:48 PM

prints out a screen shot, cuts, and PASTEs it to one of her crappy real life vases hee hee he

get the lovely reflect results that guslaw got.

Xena ( ) posted Tue, 15 January 2002 at 12:02 AM

Take the image above and load it into the Reflection Map section in Poser. Set your object colour to black, leave the highlight as it. DO NOT tick Multiply Through Object colour. Remove the texture (it's not needed) And there you go :)

Xena ( ) posted Tue, 15 January 2002 at 12:03 AM

BTW ... ANY image can be used as a reflection map, no matter how small or large. The trick is setting the Object Colour to black :)

Kiera ( ) posted Tue, 15 January 2002 at 12:50 AM

Yep. 'Tis true! I have been playing with reflection map "tricks" for awhile now, including using spheres as reflection maps to get good chrome effects and other such things.
