Subject: Two Questions

I'm looking for a character for Victoria 2. I'm new to Poser and would like some input from people in the know. I'd like her to be as natural as possible (a real woman). I also would like to learn how to make hair textures and trans. Is there a how to tutorial somewhere in cyber space? PS What the difference between Victoria 2 and Victoria 2 P4?

one of the most natural charakter is YUMA from steffyzz in the marketplace. search for YUMA. The Viccy2P4 can wear the normal poser p4 clothes.Viccy 1 & 2 only clothes made for them. For hair : there is a link down on the right side "Digital Babes"

Thanks I have Yuma in my wish list. So do the viccy 2 textures work on 2P4?

By the way, they have great textures here at Renderosity by Spectre3 for Victoria 2, you will love them and they are only $5.00 each. Sharen

Here's a good comparison between the P4 woman and Vicky. You spend good money to buy Vicky. So why go backwards?

The best thing about V2P4 is she can wear Posette clothing (of which there is TONS for free) and you can still use all those pretty faces that are designed for Vicki :) And Sharen is right. The Spectre3 textures are fantastic. I personally don't own any StefyZZ textures, and never will.

If you need a photo realistic texture I strongly recommend StefyZZ Yuma or Asia. I think that Yuma is the best texture for Victoria available now. I visited her town some months ago and met her. I could see how she works and I can tell she is a perfectionist. She pays real persons to model for her and personally take several photos of their bodies and faces to use to create her textures. She spends weeks only to eliminate the seams on the textures. Other textures that I purchased had some imperfections in these zones. There is also a great attention for details. Even if you dont do close ups dont underestimate the importance of, for example, lifelike eyes like the ones you can find in StefyZZs Edo and Yuma package, they really bring life to your models. At the time she created the textures that are currently on sale here she used a traditional camera. Recently she upgraded her photo equipment to a powerful digital camera and I could see some glimpses of the products she is working on now and I must say that my jaw still has problem to remain in its place! J I have seen other good and cheaper hand painted texture, but they are another kind of product and a different league IMO. If you are looking for textures that make your model look real go for StefyZZs products. They are not cheap, but they are absolutely worth the price

If you want a character rather than texture, search for Angelyna by Blackhearted in the Freestuff. A beautiful Vicki character. You will need a texture though, and clothes will be harder to fit due to her more real world dimensions.
