I have Pose4 with 4.03 update and pro pack. Does this make any difference how I convert jpgs to tiffs or bmp.Why can't they be converted in Photoshop? Cheers arrow1

The only conversion that Poser (without Pro Pack) does to image files is to convert bump maps (any file type) to Poser's proprietary .bum format.

Pro Pack can use .jpg, .tiff, and .bmp images without converting them to .bum. In fact, Pro Pack won't convert them, even if you ask nicely. It'll still use .bum files, however, if you have any.

When you render an image in Poser, you can save the image as .jpg, .tiff, or .bmp, but that's not the same thing as converting an existing image.

As far as I know, you can convert .jpg files to .tiff and .bmp in Photoshop by loading the .jpgs and resaving them. I use Paint Shop Pro, myself, for all my editing and conversion needs.
