Think some of you may be interested in this: February 21June 2, 2002 "The Art Institute of Chicago will commemorate the centennial of the birth of photographer Ansel Adams (19021984) with the exhibition Ansel Adams at 100. Although his work has been more widely exhibited than that of any other photographer in the 20th century, Adamss oeuvre has not been fundamentally reevaluated since his death. Bringing together 114 of his finest photographs, represented by exemplary prints drawn from important public and private collections, the exhibition constitutes a major reappraisal of the aesthetic that Adams developed over many years."

There is a LOT of information at the link given in #1: "Other Venues: Following its presentation at The Art Institute of Chicago, Ansel Adams at 100 will travel to Hayward Gallery, London; Kunstbibliothek, Berlin; Los Angeles County Museum of Art; and the Museum of Modern Art, New York."
