Has anybody messed around with the skeleton that came with C? I pulled it off last night and the thing is sort of a nightmare (for my standards and needs anyway). I retextured it, moved around lots of the hotpoints, fixed some obvious screwups and adjusted it quite a bit. The skel on the left is my new model. The one on the right I was able to pose in about 10 minutes with my new hotpoints. I've never ever posed anything before so I'm sure all you poser masterminds could have done it better and faster. What I'm asking is, does anybody else have similar re-work issues with stuff on the content CD? Don't get me wrong because I'm glad I didn't have to build this dude from scratch and I'm very greatful to have it but I did have to dissect him a lot. -Kix

I havnt played with that model but I do know that I quit trying to use ik animation b/c carrara was always losing my hotpoints and constraints.

I'm not sure what you mean by ik animation but I've moved a heck of a lot of hotpoints on this dude and none of them seems to be screwed up yet. I've got this model walking, karate chopping, falling down, cross swiping, and dancing and so far it's worked really well. I'll also finally cut some room to everybody who thinks bones is the most important thing to add to Carrara because now I can see why it's really really useful and cool. To update my requests for C, bones and radiosity are on the top of my list. -Kix
