Does anyone have an idea why a pipline extrusion gets smaller at the closing point

Maybe the scale of the cross-section was changed?

Thanks Jeff your reply got me going in the right direction. The cross section WASN'T resized that was the problem. The crosssection angles at the corners making the width of the pipe smaller. Found how to correct it and I'am going to post a tutorial on my website about it.
