THE PLACE FOR ALL THINGS BRYCE - GOT A PROBLEM? YOU'VE COME TO THE RIGHT PLACE

Subject: How do you save in the middle of a render?

I keep hearing about this, but how is it done? I'm using Bryce 4 and just recently have begun doing more complicated scenes that take longer to render. Saving and resuming would be rather helpful.

You would just click in the bryce screen, avoiding buttons and the picture itself for safety. Then save and hit resume render. If its a very lenghty render, do a save as and add a number to the name so you can go back in the future if something messes up. Ensure the button you hit is the small one to the right of the main render button or youll be starting over.

Go to Edit/Preferences and enable < Image with Scene Open/Save > Then at any point in the render you can save, and shut Bryce down. When you open the file back up hit the Resume Render button and it picks up right where it left off.
