Subject: boots fall off

anyone that owns adventures an has the ss map pak having trouble with the female mat files?when you click on one it works fine but the boots move behind her feet?the male mats don.t have this concern any thoughts---help

Yes, that does that to me, but I just push figure and conform to again and it goes right back to where it is suppose too. Sharen

I wonder if you may have to re parent the boots after applying the MAT? Since these are techincally "pose" files, maybe Poser is reading it to do that and you have to correct manually?

Well I don't parent it, all I do is conform it and it works great. Sharen

Had the same with some other matfiles and clothes. Cant remember what it was.Opened the matfiles in a editor but there was nothing to find that caused the problem.Looked the same as all other matfiles. So conforming new, seems to be the only solution

Hi. This is an old problem. The FIRST thing you need to do is remove that damnable IK from your figure (all 4 limbs!!!) and then remove it from each piece of clothing as you load them. Unless you are doing "lazyman animation" you don't need IK. Yank its ugly little chain anywhere it crops up. Carolly
