Hi silly ? but does anyone who has the woodelf know if the lighter texture pic with it supposed to come with it?can only find darker one.any input would be welcome.----------thanks

I think there's a lighter texture. I'll have to check to be sure. Go to the pose directory and choose Menhi's woodelf (hope I spelled that right). You'll find numerous icons for applying things to the model, clothing, etc. Make sure you have the right model chosen, when you apply them though. Otherwise, you'll get no observable results or some weird looking results, if the skin texture gets applied to the clothing for example. You also need to have Anton's Adventurers clothing pack for the clothing textures to work. Hope that helps. Kevin

Hi Richard, when you say the "lighter texture" I am not sure which texture you are referring to :) Do you mean for the hair? or for his skin? or for his clothes? All of the textures you need to achieve the same look as he is demonstrated with on Daz are included, as well as two accidental textures for the hair that went out with him by mistake ;) Speaking of those accidental textures, since they were not included on purpose, yet there are not enough of them to do anything with either, and you all wasted your bandwidth on my sleepyness and accidently giving out partial textures for the hair that color it black, I have decided to gather up the rest of the black hair textures that allow his hair to turn totally black, and upload those somewhere. Probably tomorrow. I am just too busy and rushed tonight to get them together right. Anyway, what you should be having are textures for the Elf, both high res and low res ones. Textures for his eyes, both high res and low res. Textures for the Adventurers outfit in case you have that, both high res and low res. Textures for the archery set in case you have that, both high res and low res. Textures for the included WoodElfHair_LE, in the Ash color. Opps, left one out. There is also a texture for "linen" for Michael too. Now this coordinates nicely with Anton's outfit, yet actually does not requre Anton's Adventurer outfit, and may be worn under any costume you might wish to have it worn under :) And of course, there are bumpmaps in jpg format. For those of you wishing to use them in Poser 4, you will need to convert them to the bum file format and apply them, and those of you on Mac to your own appropriate format :) The file size on them though once converted to bum quadrupled the download size, so I decided to only ship the jpg format ones and allow each person to convert their own.

Unless you mean the light colored clothing texture that's shown in the one pop up window... the clothing texture itself isn't included... I think it's one of the "Good and Evil" textures, but I could be wrong about that...

Aha!!! He is demonstrated in one popup with black hair wearing SS's Adventurer Textures, and in the one with gold eyes and ash hair he is wearing the Good Vs Evil Adventurer Texture set. Both of these 3rd party sets are available at Daz, and both are just excellent. I highly recommend them to you :) And I wish to god I had made them ;) If I had, you can bet your bottom dollar I would have included them. As it was, they were so pretty on him though, that I wanted to do those ladies a favour and show off their work on him to maybe help their sales :)

Hi again so your saying the light color linen grab is a mat file from good vs evil:i'am talking about the one in your mat pose files inclued with him?i'll take a look but when i looked before at daz. By the way saw Lord of the Rings today an your woodelf is a dead ringer for the woodelf in the film,keep up the great work.

Hi looks like you were right the one mat file looks like on from good vs evil,just looks tinted diffent,oops sorry for the error in judgement but was hoping that file was inclued in woodelf package.but again great model etc.

smiles Thank you :) Only the clothing texture featured on the main page render, what I call "Drab" texture, is a part of the product. I also have it clearly featured in a seperate popup about that texture. In two of the popup renders about other features, not clothing, the Wood Elf is wearing textures made by other texture makers. One by Silverlief Studios, and one is called Good Vs Evil :) Both are on the same daz site, but they are not by me, merely used by me in illustrations of the various looks you can easily get using other products, looks that are not Legolas type looks.

The faint difference in tinting would probably just be that my lights are different than the original texture creator used to render her Good Vs Evil textures under is all :)
