I found a nice crate w/textures for sale here: http://www.renderosity.com/softgood.ez?ViewSoftgood=5727 and whipped up this quick&dirty example. The floor texture is from MBGroove: http://www.renderosity.com/softgood.ez?ViewSoftgood=3495 The crate textures are uv-mapped so the crate and the textures basically go together as one unit (but there are a bunch of different wood and metal textures that can be used on the crate). To use it, just load the .obj file for the crate into Carrara and apply one of the color texture maps and the corresponding bump texture map and voila. The texture maps are high-res for nice detail. If you've ever priced add-ons for Lightwave and Cinema 4D you'll definitely appreciate the value offered by the various Carrara plug-ins and things like this little crate.
