It's not really dead ... just sleeping ! A Small Tortoiseshell butterfly in a display case -

and when no one's looking it escapes and flies off out the window.

Ooh thankyou, another butterfly for my collection. My fairies just love butterflies, and dragonflies.

Way to go Gerald! My wife and I go to Pacific Grove every year to see the monarchs(?) - I think, she's the family butterfly nut - and I have to admit seeing thousands of them in one place is rather inspiring. You're full of surprises! Thanks Larry F
