Hi: for a student project on dancing and personality we urgently need dance bvh files, most bvh stuff I found and bought are no loops and partially really bad. Now I would like to make my own dance files. May be there is somebody out there who has Dancestudio and does not use it , and sells it to me (legally) ? Karl

You might be interested in a product from Credo Interactive called Life Forms Dance 3.9.

It allows you to choreograph and create dance files. It's a bit pricey ($249), but you might be eligible for an educational discount. Credo has a demo available for download. Ask wolf359 about the software; he's using the more advanced Studio version to create .bvh files for sale here in the Marketplace.

Credo also sells collections of .bvh files; one set consists of over 100 ballet moves.

Thats Dance Studio??? I swear, folks, Ive seen copies of that at Borders, even as recently as this past Christmas. No idea where they would have gotten it, as Metacreations has discountinued it, but I gather theres a few crates of it sitting in a warehouse someplace.

if you did the entire "Dance studio" BVH collection was given away free on the poser 4 upgrade extra content CD check your poser 4 CD

over 20 different dance BVH files many of them over 1200 frames!!!

Wow, the bidding's up to $51 now. That's higher than the original retail price. VirtualSite, for how much was Borders selling Dance Studio? If it was in the bargain bin, you might be able to make a tidy profit. You'd certainly be doing the Poser community a great service by snatching them up before they're tossed out. Every couple of months, someone asks if any copies of Dance Studio are still available.
