Subject: Vicy one to Vicy2

My question is can you take morphs from Vicy1 and apply them to Vicy2? I keep getting this error message when I try it "Target geometry has wrong # of vertices" Thanks Joan

I don't think the geometries are identical. I tried that trick too, with the same result: It's possible I suppose that some component parts are the same geomety, but I think the error message pretty well sums it up. Sorry.

Then again... I may be wrong. Another message here in the forum indicates that the geomety file for Mike and Mike2 might be the same... If I was at home I could go look... Any of you old hands got the straight scoop???

Thanks Gort When you come up with that answer let me know.

V1 is V2 - unless you do not understand that V2P4 is not V2. Those who prefer clothed figures seem to gravitate to V2P4 and think that they are using V1/V2. This is not the case. Only head morphs (and some minor groups) are interchangeable V1/V2 and V2P2. The same holds with M1/M2 and M2P4

vicky 2 is two figures, and comes with 2 .obj files. one is the standard vicky (same as vicky 1) the 2nd is a P4 version and the geometry is different.

My Vicky 2 upgrade uses exactly the same .obj file as Vicky 1. You are`nt trying to apply a combination morph, ie head and eyes, shoulders and forearms, whole body ?

I can tell that there is a lot of confusion with some users thinking V2P2 is the same as V2. It is a dead give away, when someone says V2 has 3 eyebrow materials and two lashes materials. V2 does not. V2P2 does. Or rather, V2P4 has new eyebrow and lashes materials, and listings for the old ones from V2 that are at the bottom and refer to nothing. V2 MAT poses must not always work completely with V2P4 - unless the these two new materials are included.
