The only thing that might cause a problem would be if the texture names (or the MAT file names) are more than 31 characters long. MacOS 9 (but not MacOS X) will truncate file name longer than 31 characters. This will basically make the MAT files useless. But if the file names are shorter than 31 characters, MAT files and textures will work fine once run through MacConverter. Daio

Would a texture pack that contains jpgs and MAT poses be for PC only or PC/Mac compatible? I assume that Mac people can unzip zips, but is there anything else that would prevent them from using textures created on a PC? I see in the marketplace that some texture sets say PC only and am wondering why.
