Put a texture map on a boot that can be used in poser?

Ive had it in my uvmapper and uv cow everywhich way i could get it in and out and it seems they always spit it out all funny shaped!

I mean ive done the planer, sphere, cylinder everything.
I've got to be doing something wrong......but i know that already,,,,,:)

Ive got it materialed now like the poser boot and even like that i cant get the uv's right........

Please anyone can ya give some advice here?

That's a HUGE picture. Have you tried looking at the tutorials on the UVMapper site? Don't know the URL off hand, but I seem to recall a tutorial that dealt with rearranging the mesh inside UVmapper.

ok thanks.....just i wrote that im strating to get it now.....in uvcow, but im going to have to change the materials paint(blue, green, and white)to reflect where i want the texture to be placed, like i got the whole toe green when only the sole should be one color and the topfront of the boot should be another, then the sides and the tounge and the strap sand so on and so on,this uv cow is really cool cause with the uvmapper its hard for me to understand whats going on but in truespace and uv cow you can see and aplly different types of uv space as you see fit......takes me a while but im getting it!! Oh yea......sorry bout the big pic........:) I'll make sure next time i really resize it smaller.....thanks!
