Hello All, I noticed some of you had problems with free hosting sites, so here is the solution. http://the3d.ws I just got my new dedicate box so I thought I would share some of it with ya ,from there you can get a free 10MB with NO BANNERS OR ANYTHING ! This is not a SPAM I just wanna help my fellow artists. p/s if 10MB is not enough just yell :) yours, humble

Cool - we could use more places like this; I host a setup here, though because of circumstance I have to restrict it to non-commercial use only (bandwidth + site is school property.) Perhaps we should get up a list with contacts and such for folks who seek free hosting. Would you be kind enough to send an email to tjmiller@datc.tec.ut.us with the following info so I can compile a list? Size limit (In MB/GB) Is that limit flexible? (yes/no) Total site/individual bandwidth restrictions (if any, in GB per month.) Banner ads? (yes/no) Pop-ups? (yes/no) Hot-links allowed? (yes/no) Licensing restrictions? (non-commercial only, GPL/open source only, none) How to upload? (FTP/e-mail/Other) Source of site equipment/bandwidth (Privately hosted, company-hosted, publicly hosted) Content restrictions (files+thumbs only, files + thumbs+artwork, files+artwork+HTML pages?) Nudity allowed? (yes/no/artistic only) That should give up a good listing for folks... I'd appreciate if all free Renderosity hosting sites would mail me a copy of this list and their answers so that I can compile a database of sorts. /P

I hav just got a site at 3d.ws I uploaded a small index html OK, but when I tryed to upload a 332KB JPEG I got the folowing error: cgi-lib.pl: Request to receive too much data: 340793 bytes

i just try to upload some files but theres message: Error Invaild file type: .zip Please press 'back' and fix the problem. is ZIp file restricted?

yes zip files are not allowed. Images & Html are allowed only :)
