THE PLACE FOR ALL THINGS BRYCE - GOT A PROBLEM? YOU'VE COME TO THE RIGHT PLACE

Subject: Post crash help

I have a problem with Bryce 5, and the corel knowledge base has been no help at all. Maybe someone here can help me.

My Bryce was working just fine until about 3 days ago. I tried to import one of the really big items from the free stuff area into my "user" objects. Bryce crashed part way through.

Now my user space shows empty. And attempts to import new things all end with a "cannot find object" error. I suspect some user data file has gotten corrupted someplace. But, I don't know what to go touch to fix it.

Any ideas?

Thanks!!!

You could try to install right over the top of your old install. I don't know that you'd loose anything but it really sounds like you all ready may have....

Yeah, it happened to me the other night. You need to go into windows explorer and find your objects/user folder. Click on the folder and delete the object file. Unfortunately you will have lost any objects in that file but Bryce will work properly if you follow this procedure.
