Another wall for you :-) This belongs to a 15th century mosque in Shahr-i-Sabz in southern Uzbekistan. The wall is made of clay bricks, and over time it degrades quite visibly. You can distinguish rather nicely where the Soviets reconstructed it. The tiles form words, actually. The art of making turquoise tiles has been lost, and the reconstructed tiles never reach the brilliance of the original... visible rather well even on photo :-)
