Yeah, you can use imported objects, as long as you made them yourself. I suppose "spooky" could fall under the category of "mystical", so why not? I didn't write it, anyway, that was Marvilla's idea which I just copied and pasted into a new thread, so technically, it would be up to her. Would I run if I saw Casper? Hmmm.. good question. He's supposed to be a friendly ghost, right? ;)
It's actually pretty good - but too get it more spooky I'd perhaps try and make it more soft-edged. You could maybe experiment with the Fuzzy material settings? In general the spookiness of the thing will largely depend on the setting you place it in - I probably wouldn't runaway if I saw if it a McDonalds but if I turned a corner in a moon-lit graveyard and saw it it would be a different story! Context is everything. I think it might be improved if there were some sort of recognisable face - however abstract or ghoulish - that I could recognise in it... K.
MikeJ: In the cartoons, all the people or animal run away from him.... ;) So how do I enter the contest? Write February Challenge as subject and then a link..right? and...How is the merchant "thingy" work? Jilly: Bhuuuuuuu ;)) Varian: Yes, your right. I'm working on the lights... I can't realy have it more transparent, You understand that, when I enter the Challenge/Theme, with a better ghost.. Except it takes vue 10 minutes to load the dxf file... Kattleprod: I can't use fuzzy, since the object disappear... The edges of the ghost is to thin.. A McDonald ghost...., should be fat then? ;) Faces is more or less impossible, since I have to reduce the number of polygons... If you don't know that yet, I have a very old crappy comp... In the BMP version, you clearly see a skeleton face, but JPG keep messing up my pictures :-(
