before i read the story the first thing that popped into my mind was hunter s. thompson & dr.gonzo.almost fell out of my seat when i read they're going to las vegas.jc's&darth's adventure has all the possibilities of being even more warped than "fear and loathing in las vegas".oh!boy! this isn't going to be pretty.
Brings to mind Chris De Burgh's song about Jesus and Satan playing poker for the souls of the dead on that train. Nice one Doc. ;0) "That's pretty risky business, creating a satire involving Jesus." Yea, only a fine artist would risk it. Art is much more than pretty images of Vicky and Mike. It is about messages, ideas and exploring feelings and reactions in ourselves. An artist that can do this and is willing to take on the wrath of the shortsighted and blinkered detractors is someone to watch. Some will see this merely as the Doc playing with the "shock value", but as I have learned over the years of "being shocked" by his art, there is a thinking mind at work and a deep honesty and consistency in his art. This could become one of your classics Doc. STORM
Ron you been here a few months. In that time we have all got to know you through your endless posts and replies on every subject. One wonders where you get the time? Legume has been here since Willow ran this place, over 3 years ago. He has been a Mod here and at Renderotica, he has been producing fine Poser art since long before you probably first heard of Poser. You might not like what he does, fair enough. But since when did you become the Admin, the moral authority and arbitrator of this site? Have I missed something in some of your many posts? I and a considerable number of other members would like to know the answer to that question. STORM

This is just another pitty efford to let the community how twist someone could have the head. I'm disagree with this Image, not because it has Jesus in it, or even Darth vader, even the lack of "artistic" technic, I've seen better computer generated images from children (technicly speaking), but because it is tasteless and has the main purpose to make people get pissed. What a Retard!!!

OH, boy. Isn't it amazing how people can do their best to offend others, both publicly and privately? Isn't it amazing how some people don't know enough to stop when they're told? Isn't it amazing how the keep it up, even when warned? Then they go crying to "mommy or daddy" when someone stands up to them, and again reminds them to back off? Legume, you don't have a license to be abusive, even if someone else insults you. I've seen you go "over the top" here several times, and it's a wonder this thread hasn't already been locked. If/when it does, it will be caused by your abusiveness. I advise you not to send me one of your abusive IM's. I guaranteed that you will be reported for a TOS violation. Ron
Terms of Service Renderosity Terms of Service (TOS) Renderositys Mission is to serve the communication and collaboration needs of 2D and 3D graphic artists. The Community's Administrators and Moderators have created the following Terms of Service agreement that governs members participation and practices within Renderosity. As a member/user of Renderosity, it is your responsibility to know, and adhere to the Terms of Service. Member/User Conduct: Members and users are asked to conduct themselves in a manner that is constructive and respectful of others at all times. Additionally, we would hope that each member/user would do their best to facilitate a culture of collaboration and positive reinforcement, so that we can all share our passion for art while realizing our personal ambitions, and developing friendships. Members/Users will not use this community for; Any practices that affect the normal operations of the community (Admins will take whatever steps are necessary to restore service). Transmitting any libelous, defamatory, or any other material that could give rise to any civil or criminal liability under the law. Personal attacks. This includes destructive, abusive or defamatory communications in any form. Destructive commentary/communications (Trolling). Advertising or linking to any publications and/or web sites that are age restricted due to content, and/or pornographic in nature. Posting Unacceptable Images which include; 1. Depictions of physical arousal or sexual acts. 2. Genital contact with ANY object, other than sitting or clothing. 3. Rape or torture of any living or dead creature. (Any post or image can be removed at the discretion of staff if it is deemed unsuitable for this community) Members/Users found practicing these behaviors receive; Deletion of the post/s. First event - warning by email and/or IM. Second event Forum Suspension for 1 or 7 days or Temporary Community ban for 3 or 7 days. Third event Membership revoked, and access to the community permanently blocked. This includes any duplicate accounts for the same person. The member's username and reason for banning will be announced in the Forum News and Team Contact Forum. Conduct - Zero Tolerance Renderosity maintains a Zero Tolerance on certain behaviors within the community. These include, but are not limited to the following. Any threats of physical harm, property damage or acts of violence toward another individual, or group of individuals. Fraudulent use of credit cards or refusing to pay for items recieved from The MarketPlace. Soliciting or Trading of any products illegally. This includes, but is not limited to, requests and/or distribution of computer software, software security overrides and serial numbers. (Warez) Intentional practices that affect the normal operations of the community (Admins will take whatever steps are necessary to restore service). Members/Users found practicing these behaviors will immediately have their membership revoked, and access to the community permanently blocked from the community including any duplicate accounts for the same person. The member username and reason for banning will be announced in the Forum News and Team Contact Forum. In addition the appropriate legal authorities will be contacted, and if appropriate charges may be filed. Intellectual Property Copyright Policy (Please Read) Renderosity members remain the original copyright holder in all materials (software and content) provided on the community. Use of the material inconsistent with the terms and conditions set forth is prohibited and considered an infringement of the copyrights of the respective holders unless specially stated otherwise. Communications Renderosity provides a variety of communication services to members. These include: forums, gallaries, chat rooms, message boards, instant messaging, and email. Any information provided by members using these services is considered public information. Renderosity will not be held responsible and/or liable for information that members choose to share via these services. We strongly recommend that members exercise forethought and caution prior to disclosing any personal information while using these services. Privacy Statement Renderosity maintains a database of member/user information to facilitate the community's operations for members, users and administrators. The following discloses our information collection, use and dissemination practices.
