I've just taken the plunge and bought Victoria2 but I just can't get her to walk with the walk designer.

I've picked up the Cr2 file and loaded it in. She walks fine in the designer. But as soon as I apply it. The Limp magically appears.

Any thoughts people?
Thanks, Womble

Hi Womble, Yep, Vicky and the Walk Designer don't really get along. (Different geometry from Posette). I'm afraid that the only cure for that painful limp is to use the Keyframe Editor and fix it frame-by-frame. Time consuming, but it will work. Hope this helps! Dave :-)

unless you have to have her bod. try one of the variations on vicky where you use her head and the posette body. that'll work.

Thanks for the help guys. It looks like I have to delve into the key frame editor. Is it just me or Do the joints on the knees look odd

One thing that will help is to turn off IK before you apply the walk cycle from the walk designer. You still have to do some tweaking. The walk designer keys every frame and every body part when it creates the walk and I think the walks were created without IK. I have gotten to the point of hardly if ever using the walk designer and doing the walk cycles from scratch. Ed
