I am Trying to remember if I have seen a "Tommy Gun" I thought I had, but my mind turns to putty trying to remember where. If anyone can tell me if and where to find one it would be most appreciated. "Tommy Gun" def: Old style Gangster gun from the 1920's Sprout :O)

I seem to remember Eliot Ness having one in "The Untouchables"...maybe you saw it in reruns.... Otherwise, do a search of freestuff and props guild...? Scarab<-"yew dirty rats....." "Mother of God...is this the end of Rico?"

Baumgarten Enterprises, link on the right, has a tommy gun. Free and everything. Look in the "various" section from the front page. Lots of good props. Free and for sale.

There's also a M1 submachinegun around Props Guild or Greylight archives. The M1 is a version of the "tommy gun" with a straight magazine and without a vertical front grip (seen in most WWII pacific war movies), so maybe you could modify it. That's me, anti-NRA and gun lover. "Those that understand me, buy me", spanish saying.
