Subject: Animating a walk with high heels - PLEASE HELP!!!!

Anyone know how to animate a figure walking in high heels. The two problems I've encountered are: 1. Feet go through the floor 2. The foot bends up as if there were regular flat shoes on instead of heels. I'm not sure if this is a result of IK or not, but it's frustrating as hell!

Howdy! Been there too. Nope, has nothing to do with IK. Has more to do with the figure's position on the Y axis, apparently. When you put on her heels, she had to lift above 0 most likely, and then you get trouble, since she reverts to 0 as soon as you start animating, right? There have been two very useful threads about this in the last month or so, so run your eye down the list and on the next page of threads - loads of useful stuff in those two threads. Ideas, hints, solutions. This problem isn't trivial, so I can well understand your call for help. Bestaluck. :]FishNose
