Dear Jack, the person doesn't need a Saviour either, much as I admire your tenacity... it's us who need saving from our reaction to this person, so let's share the magic ignore button, it's been working for a couple of weeks for me ;) the pink pills...

a sweet disorder in the dress kindles in clothes a wantoness,
do more bewitch me than when art is too precise in every part
Thanks for the vote of confidence there, Jack. I meant what I said, and my hope was in fact that some others can learn throught the stated experiences of those of us who have already made the mistakes for them, and learned how to get past it all. But, yeah, for now, this 'situation' is over, and need not be rehashed. The situation will arise again and again. All that changes is the names of the players.
Excuse me, but I am very very tired of all this crap that I keep getting. I've done a lot for this community. I just got done helping some members who had some problems. Then I turn around and get blasted again. You don't know me. You don't know psychology. You don't know what is good for me or for the community. Jack, Mike, and others have violated every single tenant that this community is based upon. There is no excuse for that behavior. You don't need a savior, but you could benefit from some wisdom. As for me, I'm tired of wasting my time. I have more important things to deal with, like a relative who's losing his battle with cancer, and dying. Some of you have done a good job of pissing on every good thing I've done. I'm very tired of this. And don't talk to me about numbers. 20 people out of thousands is a pitiful number. I've already been in contact with some "staff," and I was urged not to give into such harassment and run away. "Don't let the bullies get what they want." Ron

You should actually listen to what Mike has said to you, Ron, and I agree with him. Mike had said: "all you need is time, and a desire to try to understand more about people, and I'm sure that trying to understand more about yourself wouldn't hurt. many of us, myself included, have been done a similar road as you in terms with our relationships with other people around here. But as time goes by, you begin to understand." In the past year I have undergone much of what Mike speaks of and I would like to think that I've become a better person because of it. In that time, I find myself listening to and respecting viewpoints from people that I never thought that I would be able to more and more each day. People like MikeJ, PJF, ScottA and JeffH... funny how taking time to listen to people, rather than just being sarcastic or nasty to them, earns you a new perspective of certain individuals. To such point that you actually begin to respect them and value their thoughts and opinions and include them in your own viewpoints. However, it is a two way street, Ron. If you want that kind of acceptance from anyone, you have to be willing to take a step back and observe, before you can adapt or overcome a situation. With MikeJ, PJF, JeffH and ScottA, I learned to just be quiet for a bit, watch them and listen to what they had to say. I only wish that I had taken the time to do so while I was in charge here before. I think allot of us have matured in our time here. Which, hopefully, one day you will do. But that isn't ever going to happen, Ron, if you keep pushing members away with sarcasm or degrading and treating them like children. You want respect, give it, work at earning it, listen to advice, examine and weigh yourself... right now, your biggest danger is yourself (which also was my own biggest danger, so we have something in common) and your inability to yield your opinion or let go of past actions against you. I think you may also have an inferiority complex. Meaning, I think you like to talk as much as possible on all these threads so that you can feel important or be viewed as being meaningful to Renderosity and the Community of users that come here. I suffered a bit of that as well, I always thought "I" knew what was best for this Community and failed to listen to other individuals who might've had better ways of going about things (example: JeffH). Because of my desire to try and be a "savior" to this Community, I lost sight of the true reason of why I came and ran R'osity. One thing you will or should learn right off the bat, Ron, is this: The Poser Community or the Members of Renderosity DOES NOT need a Savior. It doesn't need a crusader to die and martyr themselves for their rights. This Community is very strong and has no problem handling itself. It has survived wars both on the "homefront" and "overseas" and still it survives, thrives and continues. It doesn't need a General or a Captain to oversee it... it moves on its own and is BETTER for it. I hope you will consider this for a bit. Hopefully you will see that before you can force a change, you must first be willing to change yourself. Wbo knows, maybe one day we might even agree with each other. Jack
