For as long as I can remember Ive thought that there was always something to shoot, if you looked closer, literally. Back when my Minolta was the only SLR I had, I had a nice micro lens, but after a trip to the Big Sand Box in 91 it just gave up. So now I remembered my old motto, and unable to get my hands on a new Nikon micro, I decided to try some close-up filters. The pic above is the result. I noticed this on a trip to the local class 4 rapids, and it was the small things that got recorded. No Photoshoping on this one, except jpging of course. Comments Please. Quinn

What is it?

Looks like a vining plant growing across a rock. Nice contrast.

Yes, just a vine on a rock, that's all. The first post was so small that all the detail in the rock was lost, this should be better. I think what caught my eye in the original was the detail in the rock's texture. This isn't much better, but a little.

I can see it now. Great shot, and the red goes good with the rock!

Lovely Quinn.....enlarging it brought out the wonderful texture of the rock. I especially like the color of the leaves in contrast to the grey of the stone.

I am, therefore I create.......

Yes, when enlarged, it's something different... Beautiful...
