Hey great news for me, after much delay, I finished my TAX RETURN. To my surprize I Had overpaid, which means I have some extra funds :) , now what I need is advise.
I have already purchased several models, now I need some "extras" for poser.
I plan on getting THE TAILOR, What else should I have to get more out of POSER? Purchase or free... so far all I have is POSER and UVMAPPER PRO, what else do you recomend?
Thanks Niles :)

Vicki 2.0 and Mike 2.0. They're worth every penny, especially Mike 2.0 as you'll get a free mystery model (which we think is a female character) if you buy Mike quickly. You'll also want to get the morphed clothing kits for them. I'd suggest one or two of Vairesh's hair meshes and/or hmann's Gypsy hair (plus the Cleo hair if you still have money.) UVMapperPro is a wise investment. Glad to see you already have it. (No, I'm not paid to plug the product!) ;-) If you want to really expand your texturing, you might want to look at Zbrush, Body Paint, or Deep Paint Textures. The rest depends on the type of artwork you like to do. If you like fantasy, you might want to get Anton's Adventurers' Outfit and/or The Olympians. If you like Cyberpunk, Runtime DNA has some good stuff. Davo (Beyond Bent) has great Sci-Fi sets. On the hardware side, more RAM always helps. CD-burners are life savers. The Wacom graphics tablet is great for doing textures. Have I spent enough of your money yet? ;-}~

Do you have a Paint software for your texturing? Do you have a converter to make files into obj? Sharen

Do you have our models? LOL, just kidding, but do you? Sorry Kidding again, not trying to push us on you. If you want you go take a look, or get some free models while you are there. Sharen PS: do you have Vue d'Esprit? good software, go check out E-onsoftware.com

Niles, I think you did, sorry again to bother you. Sharen PS: If you don't have Vue you should really go check out their software? And definately go get a paint program, like CorelPhotoPaint, or PhotoShop so you can paint your own texture maps.

Hi Sharon, :)just finished downloading the goodies I purchased from you yesterday... Playing with them now. They are great... as always. I have the demo of Vue(still learning), I have Photo Shop Elements (I could afford). What do I need to convert files into OBJ? What kind of files? I import in POSER, and export it in OBJ... is that what you mean? Niles

Well, I mean say you decide to download a .dwg, or a .dxf model, or even do some modeling yourself and have to convert your drawings or models to a .3ds or an .obj, you will need a small application program that converts the models for you. I think one is called 3D Exploration by RightHemishere. If you have any extra money and you want a few more applications. That is what I mean, but if you are going to do your own texture maps I guess a really good paint software is your best bet. Sharen

I would say Bryce or Vue, so you can put your people in a world . . .
