When me and teyon first suggested this forum we had some pretty cool ideas in mind for what we wanted it to be ! but then I didnt hold my end up as well as i should :( so i want to give this forum one last try i think that there are enough good modelers here to have a few sessions and do some cool models im willing to do some time lapse videos for those who would like them and help out etc but we need to start posting and finding out what you want to do ! At the moment this forum lacks direction , people seem to come here as a last resort i want you to come here to learn and share that means for the more talented modelers you need to step up and share some examples i know your out there diffrent people have difrent strengths find yours and contribute whether it be a 2d model sheet or simple reply everyone speak out ! Im going to start a model with all of you once a month if you fall behind no big deal just keep asking questions ill post as many picture tutorials as possible im a moderator at 3 forums at cgtalk also so my time is split ill try though id love to see everyone of all levels join in i think we all can learn and share together This is your forum sop lets make it our responsibilty to keep it afloat Im not trying to say this forum is bad its just that its been up for 6 months! i belive with no direction no t that it needs it but id like to see it become what it can be a valuble resource and i get over 200 emails a day i think i can shre what i know here to help others and learn at the same time ! people on my hit list all the regulars in here loganarts teyon tephladon clouded in mystery ( not the most diplomatic but still) mobius ericclayes robin oberg lemurtek mike j ironbear pnevi feburus if your name is on it then you better post something im sure i forgot alot im tired but we can do something great in here it will start small and if i get no reponse illl stop trying its up top you guys hope your motivated to try ! Tomorrow we will start with some basic anatomy and model a simple eyeball very easy but very useful and everyone shoule be able to show an aproach this eye ill show will be complex though so lets get some replies including maping of the eye sounds simple eh well we will se get you self in here tomooorow !! !!! man i talk to much Trav

Trav. You don't talk too much. I think that's a great idea and I hope you get the support it deserves BTW did anybody see that Amapi 5.15 is given away on this months DIGIT magazine. Ok so amapi has the interface from hell, but its FREE, and could give an intro to those without the money to buy anything else regards peejay

I've never tried to model an eyeball in Rhino, which is what I use to model (as I slowly try to come to terms with 3ds max 4), but it should be fun. :)

Sounds cool. I'll join in! Regards- Lemurtek

I'm available after 10pm Central-what should I wear? Max, LW, Rhino or Nendo? Yes, I said Nendo-that's what I started with in learning sub-division basics, and I still crank it up on Saturday mornings with a bowl of Lucky Charms in my mitt, the cartoons blasting...whatever the hell happened to Nendo?
