Subject: Moe Camel for Poser - Travis

Here's a challenge for a guy named Travis (modeler) from me (another guy named Travis) and Michaeleh who says you're "the bomb." I'm interested in a non-copyrighted "Moe Camel" model for Poser that would remind us of the old days of advertising cigarettes to kids with cute cartoon characters. I'm thinking he could be largely man-based (humanoid/upright), with a stylized head and hands. I'd like to utilize the character in some renders in Bryce, and it were avaiable as a free download in Poser section, I could challenge other artists to compete. Are you up to it?

um are you speaking to me or another guy named travis ?

I guess it's to you. I don't know how Michaeleh knows you (other than you seem the be the resident modeling forum expert) but he suggested that the challenge arena was not the right place for my idea, and that I should run it past you. I can't really make a good case for why you'd want to spend the time on it, other than I think it would make a good Bryce/Poser challenge to come up with unique ideas for portraying the "Joe Camel" character in a ridiculous light without going so far that Copyrights are violated. (ie cange the model sufficiently so that our "Moe Camel" is not identical to the poster art for Joe Camel.) This is really something that I'd expect to have to pay for, so if it's a hit, you could sele it here. If interest is low, it might be better in the Free section.
