Congrats! I got mine from Hisoft, but christmas delayed delivery by a few days!

Thanks Jilly :) I was really supprised to get it this quicky! I'm working on a scene right now, after dumping the hefty manual to one side for a nights "light" reading g BTW I've found a couple of discrepancies in the manual, but this program rocks!

Hi all I got mine from Hisoft as well great delivery. only had it about a week. I agree about the manual it feels as though it's saying What you can it instead of How to do it. good fun though David

Cool! Yeah, the manual is more like an ad than it is a manual. ;) But it's not so bad. At least it explains the features and the interface and wher everything is, even if it does fall short of telling you how to do things. I hope you have fun with it Alla!

oh i'm not complaining too much about the manual, just wish it would go a bit more into doing something, at least we have one, how many programme manufactures just put it into PDF format onto the disk! now that is anoying by the way the pic i was working on :( computer crashed during saving :( lost it starting again David

That's terrible, David! :( Have you patched yet? You ought to go up to at least version 4.03-02. Have you seen our Annex Page here yet? There are lots and lots of links to past threads. Questions, answers, all kinds of good stuff. :)

Oh one thing: The number one rule for Vue is SAVE,SAVE, SAVE! Save often!

Bop ( ) posted Thu, 14 March 2002 at 12:50 PM

Rule two : save often in at least to distinct files !!!

David_Amos ( ) posted Thu, 14 March 2002 at 1:45 PM

i did rule 1 :) learned that from poser unforunatly rule 2? hmmm ususlly do but the difference between the last save and the work i had done was too much, so i'm starting again. oh well i can do with the practice David :)
