Subject: How do I remove green crosshairs from a figure?

They appear in the middle of the upper back. Problem is when I try to animate the figure & create a movie, they appear there as well. Thanks in advance for any advice!

double click the figure or object when the popup window comes up un check display origin. --criticom--

As criticom says, the green crosshairs show the exact location of the "origin" point for figures or props. Sometimes this is useful for precise alignments or measurements. If you don't display the origin, you don't see green crosshairs.
