Wow, 26 entries this month! :) It isn't going to be easy to vote, but go have a look at all of them again, before you do, by clicking on the link. Clicking on the thumbnail will take you to the page where a full size picture is. Be sure to scroll all the way down to see them all! We have until the end of 3/21 to vote. So....vote!

That's right, Mike, very hard to choose. But the image what looks the most mystically to me by its light and general atmosphere is Alla's. Also my vothe goes to Alla:-) Guitta

TheWingedOne ( ) posted Wed, 20 March 2002 at 3:58 AM

Heyas, all images are very nice. But I have to choose one only :( Mine goes to Agiel. Is this kind of voting okay or do I have to hit a certain button? Cheers, Phil

TheWingedOne ( ) posted Wed, 20 March 2002 at 4:01 AM

Ooops, looks like I was too fast. I didn't read Mike's post closely, sorry for that Mike ;) Hope my voting worked now... Phil

Wow that's hard work choosing! In the end I voted for "21st Century Mystic" by marvilla, as I love the clarity and detail :)

This was a great challenge and there's a lot of excellent images to choose from. My vote goes to Seven Wolves for the beautifully atmospheric "Guidance". Still reeling from the two hours sleep I managed to get after doing my entry (maybe that will teach me to start a little earlier)! - Mark

I prefer Marvilla's picture (it's my vote, if possible. Is anyone allowed to vote ?), since it looks like a real interior scene; objects are well done, and the light is fine... Yves

Kattleprod ( ) posted Wed, 20 March 2002 at 5:35 AM

Wow - it's incredibly difficult to single out a winner from such a great line up. I think Alla's "Fairy Light" just pips the post for me by a whisker, though.

h-kana ( ) posted Wed, 20 March 2002 at 5:56 AM

I want to vote ALL of them. Very difficult to choose.. Well, my vote goes to YL this time. I like its delicate lighting. Hatsumi

Jilly ( ) posted Wed, 20 March 2002 at 6:23 AM

My vote goes to yggdrasil, mainly because of the concept, also because it's just a great picture. [this took me about 45 minutes to arrive at, I'm going to lie down now....]

agiel ( ) posted Wed, 20 March 2002 at 6:30 AM

It's very difficult to vote this month. Mine goes to Alla's lighting and details. Too bad we can't vote for everybody.

sittingblue ( ) posted Wed, 20 March 2002 at 7:55 AM

So many great entries... I vote for Alla.

Charles

the3dgm ( ) posted Wed, 20 March 2002 at 8:57 AM

Tough! Really tough! Had to look at them all twice. I'll vote for YL.

Irish ( ) posted Wed, 20 March 2002 at 9:40 AM

Wonderful entries! Congratulations to all of you but after viewing them all I chose Axe55's Sword of the Dead, which is spectacular!! :) Irene

bernieloehn ( ) posted Wed, 20 March 2002 at 10:30 AM

I vote for Marvilla or for agiel or for Alla or for YL - oh it is so hard - but finally, well okay, for me it is Marvilla! But want to mention Jilly for the nice and optimistic feeling I get when I look at the picture. ;-) Bernie

I will vote for Marvilla,

Mike, Juna, Seven Wolves, Agiel and Alla did also excellent stuff !

it was a very good challenge !

Eric

Rynn ( ) posted Wed, 20 March 2002 at 11:06 AM

I like Agiels picture a lot, so I'll vote for that one. But there are several very good pictures. So the choice was hard. :)

Christoph1 ( ) posted Wed, 20 March 2002 at 11:13 AM

Hmmm . . . I think it's a toss-up between Alla, Seven_Wolves, and Marvilla. Arghhhh!! This is a tough one . . . I guess I'll vote for Alla. I really like the mood and atmosphere of his/her pic. Oh, I never asked . . . whose eligible to vote in this???

Myske ( ) posted Wed, 20 March 2002 at 11:32 AM

My vote is for Audity. Stay at the movie box thingy. Loves Alla's aswell but cannot find what he modelled himself and with what prog. regards Myske

Ladyfyre-graphics ( ) posted Wed, 20 March 2002 at 11:39 AM

Oops! I Should have put it under the picture, I made the fairy wings, the staff and the models hair, all in Cinema 4D 6 :)

Wow, absolutely amazing work here! Everybody did a great job. Kudos to you all! But alas, I have to pick one...

I would have to vote for Seven Wolves "Guidance". It's soft beautiful elegance just won me over. :)

Seven Wolves ( ) posted Wed, 20 March 2002 at 11:45 AM

For the Challenge part, hands down it's marvilla. That's some really fine modeling in there. For the Theme of "Mystical Moment" though, I am most impressed by Rynn and agiel. Since we can only vote for one, I have to go with agiel.

Ms_Outlaw ( ) posted Wed, 20 March 2002 at 12:00 PM

Almost had to resort to flip the coin since there are so many in there I love... but decided on SevenWolves since I've been beating my head against the wall trying to do a simliar image. I had no luck.. he/she got it perfect.

Varian ( ) posted Wed, 20 March 2002 at 12:31 PM

Well, Myske, Marvilla and YL really captured my attention especially. I've got a strong interest in still life work. Wonderful lighting, textures, moods. And it's still a dang tough choice. Going to have to go with Marvilla for the intricate detailing. --- And to respond to the above questions, anyone is eligible to place a vote. All of R'osity could come by if they had a mind to. Of course, that would make it very difficult for Mike to tally everything. grin

MikeJ ( ) posted Wed, 20 March 2002 at 12:31 PM

Well, I see I'm not alone in feeling torn between several. :) I hate this part of the challenge..... I thought that marvilla's, YL's and audity's pictures were technically the best, not to mention some of the best Vue pictures I've ever seen. But in spite of that, I'm going to cast my vote for Rynn and "Catching the sun". It does in fact look like a very "mystical moment."

tradivoro ( ) posted Wed, 20 March 2002 at 2:48 PM

I vote for MikeJ's picture.. I think he defintely did a great job in creating a mood, a story, and a scene...

marvilla ( ) posted Wed, 20 March 2002 at 3:49 PM

Hi friends...glad I got a moment to get in here and vote for the challenge. My vote this month goes to audity, but IMO all the images presented are winners already! What a turnout of excellent imagery...looks like everybody had fun with this one and that makes me happy :) Mom's back in the hospital again, she's had two more heart attacks, and in the condition she is in now there is nothing more to be done because she will not survive any surgical procedures. I haven't had much time to be around because of this, so please excuse my absence in here these last 2 weeks. Marvilla

I will vote for Rynn's Catching the Sun though there were five others on my short list. Rynn fulfilled the exercise portion with the model, met the spirit of the challenge in that it is definitely a mystical moment, and I love the lighting and colors used. Of course I could say the same thing for almost all of the entries so it's very hard to choose. jon

All of these images are amazing! The talent in this forum is awesome. My personal favorites are : MikeJ's, audity, YL,Axe555 and Alla's. Since we can only vote for one..... I have to go with audity. It's the one I keep going back to look at. The textures are beautiful. Fantastic work Eric. John

Axe555 ( ) posted Wed, 20 March 2002 at 8:08 PM

I vote for Seven Wolves. The lighting in that is fantastic and really makes the picture come alive for me. Having said that, I think everyone did some excellent work and I'm glad we had more people enter this time around. Hopefully we'll have as good or better turn-out for the next one. :) Marvilla: I'm sorry to hear about you're Mom. My thoughts are with you and I wish you and you're family the all best. Rich
