Here's where I ended up. I have some small tweaks to make but this could go on for the rest of my life if I let it.

WOW!!! those bad boys look Huge! It reminds me of when discovery channel shows things like m1a1 tanks roll off the assembly line. That is some great modeling, and it is a very very nice render!

Great work! How do they look in a scene with colors, sky etc.? Do you have one of those little fighter-ships to add to the scene?

I'm ready now to do some stuff with them. I will probably chew on them one more day because I see important things still missing and then I'm going to let them rest (in terms of modeling on them some more). I have a scene in mind and I'll put it up in the gallery when it's ready. Probably a week. It's amazing what you can do with the spline modeler. One of these days, I'm going to have to learn the vertex modeler.
