Subject: Jockeys and Speedos for Michael

Basis3D ( ) posted Mon, 25 March 2002 at 12:14 PM · edited Sun, 24 November 2024 at 8:29 PM

I know there are boxer shorts for Michael but it seems like someone should have created Jockey briefs or Speedos by now, but I can't seem to find them. Anyone know where I can find them? TIA

You could just paint them on the no-gen body texture of your choice. The speedos I've seen are all too bulky and, frankly, almost impossible to work with.

True, I could paint them on but I think they'll look like those airbrushed Sear's catalog undies and swimwear. I'm thinking that they should have a natural "bulge" in the front if you know what I mean. Perhaps even a morphable bulge and even a morphable fly opening. Do you recall where you found the "bulky" speedos? Thanks for your response.

Actually, the boxer briefs in Free Stuff work pretty well for me but I just wish the were Jockey brief style. I don't know how to cut off the boxer legs but someone here could probably do it in 2 seconds. I'll try writing the contributor. Thanks again.

try Ffabris' site www.penguinbar.com, might find something you like there and his have "bulge" morphs also

You need the boxer legs for conforming. Try using a transparency map instead of cutting them off. It would take about 30-60 seconds if you had the right texture template ;-)

here's a quickie example you can texture them anyway you want to

dkal - VirtualSite didn't mean painting the texture on by hand in postwork. They were talking about using a color in the material zone on Michael for NoGen (No Genitals). Michael's body has zones on it that you can color (or texture) however you want. If you look at the product page for Michael on DAZ they are colored to have what looks like a bathing suit on - just by changing that zone areas color. Dave

The transparency map idea sounds great, nyar1ath0tep (whew, what a handle). I haven't tried manipulating transparency maps before but it would be good for me to learn. Thanks for the tips, dirk5027. Dave, I did understand what VirtualSite was saying. Guess my reponse wasn't clear. Again, though, I don't have any experience doing that but it would be good to know how to do it. Guess I'll experiment.
