Thanks, Varian, for your kind words on both... Wouldn't it be neat if we could scale the trunks of the trees in vue!? But oh well.. I know I will be first in line if and when they bring out a new add on vegitation package anyway! Most of the items are really great! (just the orange tree trunk and the cherry tree trunks are oddly fat).... but (shhhh!) I will take a vue tree over the bryce 5 trees anyday! ;) Lyne

Being able to scale the trees in portions - trunk, branches, leaves -- would be excellent! I think unlikely because of how the SolidGrowth works, though. Like you, I'll take the SolidGrowth over the ability to scale parts! I have done a lot of playing with re-shaping and manipulating SolidGrowth trees. (Take a look at the link.) I've also been lately playing around with "building" Vue trees using multiple trees plus dead tree limbs, and there's some good potential in there. This image is one example (there's a standard Plum Tree in the middle front of this view) and I have some additional examples in my gallery, but the ones in the gallery have also been post-worked quite a bit. The basic shapes of the trees do come right from Vue, however. I love SolidGrowth! :)This site uses cookies to deliver the best experience.
