At the link above you can see my first attempt in Poser. All stuff is done with DAZ3D stuff. The environment is done in Vue d'Esprit 4. Seravajan

That is pretty damn good! Its great to see real shadows on a Poser figure. When you do another scene it would be an idea to make use of the water to reflect the figure, something else Poser cant do. Personally Id be interested to hear your thoughts on Vue and Poser together. Im looking at buying Vue to do just what you are and any comments or advice would be appreciated.

looks quite nice! If I were doing it I'd try for a touch darker shade for the hair and perhaps dodge in the face a little lighter, but it's excellent for a cross-app render. Nice work.

it looks nice, the water and trees, but the background is kinda flat. you'll have to play a bit with lighting and/or fogs or such, to get a focus of attention in the background. i'd go for following scheme: she - bright, tree and the bush - dark, background to the horizont - bright. thus you'll get more plasticity in the surrounding. also she is a bit stiff. when people stand they mostly shift their whole weight on one leg. and i'd also like to know how did you export your figure to vue and how long does it took (approx.) to render. i'd like to see more of it! :-)

Thank you very much for the critics. I have really appreciated them! :) Some infos about this picture. Worktime about 5 hours of which are 3 hours of playing with Daz3D BluntCut. The terrain was created about 10 minutes after installing Vue on my PC (!). Rendering was done in about 5 minutes! Importing Poser 4 characters can be done this way: Menue bar => Object => "Object importing" and select poser files in the drop down menue. Then you have probably to point first to your poser.exe and after this you can import pz3 files. If they are imported too big you can use global scaling to scale them down. The Vue 4 rendering engine is superb. Seravajan (on working to improve the first picture a bit)
