Subject: Can Stephanie share poses?

Daz indicated a lot of what Stephanie can share with Vicky and Mike. But they did not mention poses. Can Stephanie share poses with Vicky or Mike? Hand poses? Face Poses? (Character morphs? Expressions?) - JimX

JimX, I've been using both body poses and hand poses that were made for Vicky on Steph and vice versa. Sometimes the body poses need slight changes, but they are still very close (as all of the body parts still have the same names). I don't have any face poses for either of them, so I don't know about those (But I would assume that the same is true - they would work just fine (at least with expressions)). As for Mike, like Vicky, you can apply his poses to Steph, but certain body parts won't work perfectly (For example, if Mike has his hand on his hip in his pose, Steph won't with the same pose applied). Because the basic body form is different, things just don't allign the same way. I hope that makes some sense. Good luck! Aaron

I've had VERY little luck with Vicki face poses, SOME work out ok, still needs tweaking and aren't all that close to the original, not sure why, I'm sure it has to do with the Mike mesh base. But I've been using standard Mil poses for Stephanie and they work for the most part. As Aaron said, there are a few minor tweaks that need to be made to get it right, but I usually adjust most poses in the first place to suit my needs.

Good question. Body poses will work if they are just posing the figure. That only requires rotation and translate settings. Poses with morphs, shaping poses, would require a morph of identical name as would facial expressions, which are all morph-based. The tweaking needed is caused by the bodyshape, for example Mike is much "thicker" than Stephanie, hence his hip sits in a different space than Stephanies in the same pose. The skeleton is the same but the body isnt.

heyas; stephanie has the same proportions as victoria (to wear her clothing), so victoria poses would work better than michael poses. stephanie has michael's facial morphs, so michael face files may be more accurate for her. expressions should be the same for all of them, however. (the brow raising, the smiling... well, within reason, they're the same.) a hand pose made with one millenium figure should work with them all.

I've assumed, since Stephanie is made from Michael's mesh, that she could use Mike's poses. I've tried it and it seems to work. I've used Mike's hand poses on her and they do the trick. I'm hoping someone will do some Stephanie poses. Hey, Schlabber.............! ;) Melanie

If anyone is interested I put together many Stephanie face poses and "face morphs." They're in Free Stuff here.
