Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2024 Dec 23 8:11 am)
I am glad it doesn't just happen to me, the air was blue this afternoon when I did exactly what Phantast said, and lost Vicky, just had a set of clothes and a necklace standing there on there own

Yup, back to the save yer work every minute routine. Maybe we can put the "undo function" on the Poser 5 wishlist. JV

My gripe too! I do a lot of work in CorelDRAW 9 and really dig the unlimited undo function, miss it in Poser as I am really expert at making frequent bloopers. The other wonderful feature I miss is Autosave that can be reset to any time interval, if you crash or freeze 4 hours into a drawing, just re start and only a few seconds to 5 minutes work has been lost. I have other programs with one step undo such as Photo deluxe that I love and do forget to save often. Maybe their is an add-on program somewhere that gives reminders to save at preset intervals like the annoying MS office clippie. Tommy.
The best Undo function I have ever saw in a program was in a cheap CAD like program. In it you was able to undo a specific step. For example you are working on a house. You make a modification on one window. Then you work on the roof and after this you apply a texture to the house walls. Now you noticed that the modification to the window was wrong. Then you was able to undo the window modification only! Seravajan

After a long time spent working on a new character, about to save, thought, "Well, I'll just delete that prop first". Click. Delete. Oh no, the FIGURE was selected! Undo? No way. Why can't Poser undo a figure deletion???? Of all the stupid design decisions! Show me one other similar program where you can undo some actions but not others.
