Subject: uv mapper

just downloaded the uv mapper thinking i could open posette and paint a texture on and save it what is my downfall? thanks anyone

You already have a texture map for Posette. It's on the content CD. You don't need to run the model through UV.

Now that you have it though you can make props and use uvmapper to texture them. You can also download freestuff and make your own textures for them.

You don't actually paint within UV mapper... you use it to create those maps you see with the meshes on them. You can manipulate the maps, change the style of the map (planar, spherical, etc.), then save out the BMP and use that in a seperate paint program. Be sure to save the mesh after you get the map the way you like, or your BMP template won't work on your figure. Tilandra
