Hi My poserprogram is giving me problems. Almost every time i try to render something the program freezes and i get the message: Caought C exception_flt_invalid_operation trapped at 15f:40c504. What the heck does it mean? I've been reading old post about this and has tried some of the tips given there, but so far no luck. Anyone hade a clue about what i can do? TdaC

I just tried it, so the Poser4 updater is still there. Give it another try. The patch clears up this problem. http://www.curiouslabs.com/downloads/index.html

Hi it kinda works with the patch, but not all the way. Now i can render the images that i couldn't render before, but only in the main window. If i try a new window all i get is stripes. Then the program freezes.

You've stumped me there. Can you post a pic of a render wtih the stripes? And what OS are you using?

Here's the image, but where the stripes were in poser, iot's black now. I'm a newbie..... what's OS?... Windows 98..

Ah! I take it the "stripes" were vertical above the rendered part of the image. This is a problem that has been frequently discussed here before with certain Operating Systems (OS) but I didn't think W98 was the one with this problem (WinME?).

There was a post here yesterday, or the day before, addressing this same issue with several suggestions. If I recall correctly, they suggested deleting textures and props, one by one, until you found the offending element and it would render. There were also some other suggestions.

Not a problem I've had to deal with (using klunky ol' win95) but your problem is not unique, so hopefully someone else will jump in at this point.

If no one does, I'd suggest a new thread with the title: "Win98 render problems?"

Good Luck! & welcome to the forums btw!
