hey there photo friends. Just wanted to let you know that if you're still interested in Lab, or even just debating whether or not digitally overexposing a photo is losing detail or making an aesthetic decision, im still around but just super busy at the moment. However, I did find a couple of good articles that might help. The first one gives a quick summary of what Lab is. and that is here: www.colorremedies.com/articles/2DeviceIndepend.pdf

The second, which covers a few tutorials can be found here:

While i found most of his examples to be quite good, i'm just a little concerned with his curve technique. But even still, if you're able to understand what he's done, then i'd say you're 90% there. Give me a few more days and i'll try and come up with a better tutorial that'll take us the rest of the way. ok?
