Subject: what is the rendering soft called "V Mantra"

in CGW, march 2002, there is an article for "about Time" it has a "V Mantra" whuxh was used to render "Time Machine", the movie of Digital Domain. Any idea what it is ? Sorry to post here since this gets more browse hits than other forums.

Mantra is a renderer for a 3D animation and effects program called Houdini 5.

yeah, CGW also mentioned "Houdini" and V mantra. Thanks.

I figure it might be "Houdini V" and Mantra, not "Houdini" and V mantra since V is for "5".

Houdini 5 will include full support for Mental Ray rendering. so "Mantra" is "Mental Ray".
