Can anyone tell me where to find an Alien model like the one used in "Alien"? Would also like to find a good looking T-rex or Raptor. Any info would greatly appreciated.

heyas; sixpacwolf and virus made a xenomorph, and they were working on a new improved version (never heard if that got finished or not). erm.... last i recall it was at props guild, but lord knows where it is now :/ look for 'rapty' in free stuff, it is a free preview of a commercial model (if it is still there), and is excellent. rapty the full version is only about 20$; check the marketplace. there were a bunch of t-rex's.... dedicated digital had one, daz has one by debra.... then i think... argh, who's the guy who made the predator? tbkoen? had one, and george deep? possibly scotta has one on his site, too, he has bunch of dinosaurs. poke through the free stuff here, see if you can find virus to ask about the alien (i don't know what sixpacwolf's current name is). scott's site is www.pixelacious.com or www.pixelatious.com. no, wait. his domain pointer doesn't seem to be working, he's on fortune city somewhere. argh! okay, pester scotta for his url! there. george deep is at www.3deepdesigns.com? maybe. well, dedicated digital is at www.dedicateddigital.com, but lord knows if they're back up and running yet. daz is www.daz3d.com. and there, now you have the benefit of my vast (and full of gaping holes) knowledge! :)

Have a look at Davo's site for his Mechalien, with a Giger-type texture it's ok. And it's free :) Here's a quick pic.

Thanks folks, and I like that mech alien! I want to animate a creature like this and use after effects to composite it with real video footage. Has anyone tried this? I have with Bryce models but never with Poser and I am a very newbie at Poser to say the least. Thanks

Many of the links don't work. Fortunecity has refused to tell me why. But I think the T-rex link still works. ScottA

Dedicated Digtal will be returning soon, so perhaps their dinos will be made available again (looking forward to the tiger). TBKoen's T-Rex was a remapped version of the Dedicated Digital rexxy.
