well the above pic shows my conformer on the left, before its conformed, and on the right after it is conformed. as you can see it misaligns itself (looks like everything is riding too high) after i choose to conform it. now, the mesh was built perfectly to fit her body in rhino using the box method i was shown earlier, BUT i am using the victoria catsuit cr2 to conform my obj. is this a problem? if the joints are different etc, for Stephanie, how can i go about fixing that? im not sure why the conformer actually MOVES when i choose conform to figure; but i suppose i need to find a full body conforming cr2 for Stephanie somewhere and use that as a basis? i will look around and see what i can find, in the meantime if anyone has any handy tips i would be very grateful =) Brian

aha. i exported Stephanie with the box method to build the clothing around her, BUT since DAZ says stephanie fits all of vicki's clothing, i bet i should have fit it to VICKI and not stephanie, which may explain why it's slightly off. does that make sense?

from the sound of it, Vicky and Steph should be the sae if the can wear the same clothing. It's hard to say. My guess would be that you would definatly need to set the parameters to what is in Steph's CR2. If you can't find a full body conforing CR2, my Poser Wizard can handle any character released so far. It will open the character CR2 and extract the conforming settings and apply it to your new clothing OBJ.

heyas; the problem probably is that you exported stephanie. don't do that ;) you should use the base obj mesh. if you want the clothing to fit her with the stephanie fbm set to 1, then yes you do have to export her, but follow this proceedure to do so: 1: turn off all ik, and zero the figure. (use the jp window, it has the zero figure button.) 2: select the hip and make sure the x/y/z trans are set to 0. select the BODY and do the same. 3: when exporting turn everything off, except weld body part seams. do not use 'as morph target.'

hmm Katman, sounds like i need your poserwizard =) @bloodsong, yes i do all that now when i export.. the thing is, if stephanie can already wear ALL of vicki's clothing... which is what DAZ says she can do, then there is no need to fit anything to steph in the first place right? just fit it to vicki... which i have already been doing for a while now lol guess i just did it backwards =P
