Subject: Remapping Angelynawings question

Hello, Here is my problem. I want to remap the Angelynawings from Sharkey with UVMapper but I cant select each feather using selection by Group, by material or directly in the windows. What do you suggest me? I've tried the BodyPaint demo but the original obj file was 9 meg and obj file saved was 90 meg and unusable with Poser (problem with vertice). Can I do it with Rhino? Thanks

Why do you want to remap it? There are alot of great free textures to be had in the freestuff.

I totally agree with you but if I use these textures for close-up I'm not satisfied. My idea is to make five or six groups of feathers (in each group the feathers are superimposed). So - with the same size of texture I'll get a better result - with the scan of real feathers I can make a new texture quickly My english is far from perfect but I expect you understand my goal.

one thing you can do that will be very time consuming is open it in poser and use the grouping tool to group each area you want after it has been grouped export the obj and then bring it into UV mapper select by groups and it should work
