I'm new to Poser 4, so can someone tell me what am I doing wrong? The other day I was playing with the animation tool and I just tried to make a little test movie. Well, everything went ok, except that when I made the movie, the main camera was moving on it's own without me moving it. How can I make it stay in one place? Also last night I did another sample movie, with a simple hand moving it's finger. Well, this time the camera wasn't moving, but some of the fingers were moving without me moving them What's happening? Thanks!

If you change the main camera location (such as to get a better view while posing a frame, the animation palette will register a "key frame" for the camera and will try to move the camera to that position for that frame. If you want the camera not to move, scroll down and block of all the frames across for main camera, then hit delete keyframes for this element. It should stay put...also, you may want to use the posing camera instead of main camera for setting up frames. As to the unexpected movements, pretty much the same story, if there are parts you dont want to move, check to make sure inadvertan key frames have not gotten onto the palette for those elements. Click on the camera in question (presumably main), then go to Object on the menu and properties. UNcheck the animating checkbox. This will turn off animation for that camera, even if it is already in your animation. Krel
