Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2025 Jan 21 1:30 pm)
Steve, do you mean as in a Canon SLR or Nikon or some such? If so, I've got loads of brochures and stuff - I could scan in a couple. What kind of pic / angle / camera do you need? Sharen - thanks, I'll check out Funstuff - I just had a feeling thewre wasn't anything really up to date, only something more primitive, but I'll take a gander. Or the goose otherwise :o] :] FishNose

I found a fairly new one for free at 3dcafe, here is the link, just look down, I think it is the 3 row down....SharenNo a video camera Fishnose...i know very little about them so if thats what you meant sorry :o)...i just did a newsroom scene and really wanted to get a camera in there, and also thought if i could get pics i could do an outdoor set ....mind saying that the scream movie might be handy for that bit......if your brochures have anything like that any shot would be cool and both sides of the camera if possible but if not we can fudge it ;o)..Steve
Steve - Okay, a pro style video camera - you mean like a really heavweight floorstanding job? Studio model on a trolley? Or a shoulder model? I'll look around, betcha I got something. Or can find something. Do you need it super pronto? I'm a video photographer amongst other things, so I frequent the sites and shops that have that kind of equipment. Myself , I use a handy semi-pro 3ccd DV handjob :o] on a tripod. These days, the difference between the shoulder models and hand models has shrunk to a helluva lot less than it used to be. Sharen - thanks! I'll check out 3dcafe. Very nice of you to help out. I did find one here in funstuff, but it was pretty primitive, a 3ds thing from '99.
Steve, I've got pix for you - and then some. Extremely hires pix of 2 models, the JVC DV500 (full-pro shoulder) and the JVC DV300 (semi-pro hand). Jpegs at about 1000x1000 or so, from all sides except underneath. The DV500 is, as JVC put it themselves, the world's premier DV professional camera. I don't know the price, but a fair guess is in the $25000-$35000 range. I'll zip up the pics (9MB in total) and send them to you - what's a suitable email? :] FishNose

Hi good people of the Forum! I need to stick in a video camera in an image I'm working on - anybody know of a fairly modern-looking model of one for Poser? Cheers :] FishNose
